In an investor call this February, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said the company's various delays and cancellations were a result of making too many games at once. The most recent delay came early this year, where Ubisoft also announced it had canceled three other unannounced games. It was first revealed alllll the way back in at Ubisoft's 2017 E3 presentation before being hit with a long list of delays - six of them, to be exact. But you'd be forgiven if you've forgotten that detail, because it really has been awhile since Skull and Bones was announced. The catchy sea shanty, performed by Home Free, did set a good tone, harkening back to the ones in Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, which is fitting because Skull and Bones was originally developed as an expansion for that game.
